The Exhibition and Concert Municipal Hall “Melina Merkouri” is located right by the port, next to the Port Authority Office, which is housed in the building of the old Gunpowder Depot (Mparoutapotheke). Every year, exhibitions with artworks of famous artists are hosted there. More specifically, the Hall is located west of the A. Miaoulis sculpture, by the post beach. Many lectures, concerts, and culture nights are organized in the Exhibition and Concert Municipal Hall “Melina Merkouri” every summer, under the aegis of the Municipality of Hydra.
