As part of the official recording, depending on the mode of participation, a participant’s image, voice, full name, title\/capacity, presentation, question, comment, or other public intervention may be recorded.<\/p>\n
In particular, speakers and those actively participating in the Program’s proceedings are informed that their presentations, interventions, and questions may be recorded and broadcast live.<\/p>\n
The recording concerns the official proceedings of the event and is not intended to capture private conversations or personal discussions among participants.<\/p>\n
Option to Opt-Out of Recording<\/strong> The Organizing Committee takes reasonable practical measures so that individuals who do not wish to appear in the official photographic or audiovisual recording can, where technically and operationally feasible, participate without being included in the camera’s line of sight.<\/p>\nAnyone who does not wish to appear in photographic or audiovisual material is requested to inform the Organizing Committee prior to the start of the proceedings so that a practical solution can be suggested, such as seating outside the camera shot or another suitable mode of participation.<\/p>\n
In the event that a recording has already taken place and a relevant request is submitted, the Organizing Committee will examine, to the extent technically and practically feasible, the removal, trimming, blurring, or non-further publication of specific material.<\/p>\n
Particularly in the case of live streaming, the ability to immediately remove or prevent the appearance of a person cannot always be technically guaranteed. For this reason, anyone wishing not to appear on camera is requested to declare so well in advance before the start of the relevant session.<\/p>\n
Remote Participation<\/strong> Participants connecting remotely are informed that if they enable their camera and\/or microphone and actively participate in the proceedings, their image, voice, name, and\/or intervention may be recorded and broadcast.<\/p>\nWhere the relevant technical capability is provided, those who do not wish to appear in the recording may participate with their camera disabled and without audio intervention.<\/p>\n
Presence of Minors at the Program Venue<\/strong> In the event of the presence or participation of a minor, no photography, video recording, audio recording, or other audiovisual recording of the minor will take place without the prior written consent of their parent or legal guardian.<\/p>\nThe relevant consent must be provided prior to the minor’s participation in any activity that may be recorded.<\/p>\n
Individual Recordings by Participants<\/strong> The Organizing Committee emphasizes that the official recording of the event is distinct from any independent photographic or audiovisual recordings by third parties.<\/p>\nThe Organizing Committee does not encourage and does not control individual recordings and postings of photographic or audiovisual material by individual participants, which are conducted independently of the official recording of the event.<\/p>\n
Liability for such independent recordings and for their publication or further use lies solely with the person taking and publishing them, in accordance with applicable legislation.<\/p>\n
